FAQ’s

General Questions

A: You can set up a free e-mail account with providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, MSN or AIM. (Note: Cascadia does not endorse any specific e-mail service.)
A: You do not need a profile to search open positions. Simply enter the Career Center by clicking the External Applications Search and Apply, and search open positions by job number, job title or key words. You may also click on the blue arrow to review all open positions. If you decide to apply for a position, a profile must be created and an online application must be completed. If you are a current Cascadia employee, you will only need to create a profile and either upload your resume or copy and paste; you do not need to complete an online employment application.
A: It is important that hiring managers are provided with your qualifications to assist them in the recruitment and selection process. Resumés provide important information about your work experience, education and skills. These areas are closely reviewed and compared to other qualified candidates who are interested in the open position.
A: The application is a legal electronically signed document. The resume is not. The application also will have more detailed information that a resume may not have. It is important that both are completed, as this information is used when your qualifications and employment history are being reviewed.
A: Due to the large number of applications received, we are unable to verify the status of individual applications. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the hiring manager directly. If you are not selected, you will be sent an e-mail notifying you that the hiring manager moved forward with another candidate. You are welcome to check in with recruitment@cascadiabhc.org to follow up. Please give at least 7 days.
A: The application process can range from days to weeks depending on the volume of applicants and the urgency of the recruitment process.
A: Yes. It is important to note however, that Cascadia protocol only allows us to consider applicants for one position at a time. If you have a preference for a specific position, please contact recruitment.
A: Cascadia will only consider you for one position at a time. Therefore, your information will be forwarded to the job that you’ve identified that most closely matches your qualifications and experience.
A: Each time a job is filled, an e-mail is sent to the applicants to let them know. If you get more than one email, you have likely applied for more than one position with the company. The e-mail will contain the job title and number of the position that was filled.

Username/Password Questions

A: Please do not create another account/profile. Your username is typically the e-mail address that you used to create your account. When you originally created your account/profile, an e-mail was sent to you with your account information; you may want to check for that e-mail. You may also want to check your junk or spam folder because some e-mail settings filter these e-mails into those folders.
A: Go to the Career Center and click on ‘Click here to check the status of your application…”. Then click on ‘Forgot Password’ on the bottom right of the Login box. A series of challenge questions will pop up for you to answer; these were the questions established when you initially created your profile. Also, when you created your account/profile, you received an e-mail with your username and password; you may want to check to see if you still have that e-mail available. You may also want to check your junk or spam folder because some e-mail settings filter these emails into those folders. If you are having troubles, please do not create another account, please contact recruitment@cascadiabhc.org for further assistance.

You do not need a password if you are an internal, current employee. You can access the internal career center by visiting Inside Cascadia and then select, under Quick Links, ADP Self Service/ETime. Select ‘Sign In’ and you will be automatically signed in. Make sure you are on the Employee tab of Self Service. Scroll down to ‘Job Opportunities and Trainings’ and click on Internal Career Center. If you are off site, go to http://www.cascadiabhc.sharepoint.com and select ‘Sign In.’ This time, you will need to use the same log in credentials you use to sign on to a computer at work. Then again, go to Quick Links, Self Service/ETime and scroll down until you see the Internal Career Center.

Profile Questions

A: You can change your profile at any time by logging in with your e-mail address and password. Click Edit Profile found in the drop down menu under your name at the top right and update your information.

Employment Application Questions

A: Yes. If you are not finished and want to come back later to complete your application, save your document as a Draft. Keep in mind, you cannot be considered for a job until you complete the online application and save it as a Final version.
A: No. You must complete the online application and provide an electronic signature before your application is complete.
A: If you don’t see a large blue arrow indicating to click on the specific box to proceed, it is likely a system issue. Please contact recruitment@cascadiabhc.org to check and make sure your application was submitted correctly.
A: In order to complete the application, it is best to use the following compatible browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 9, 10, or 11
  • Google Chrome 33 or higher
  • Mozilla Firefox version 17 and higher
  • Apple Safari 6.0 and higher
A: The system won’t let you attach new documents once you have completed the application. You can submit it to recruitment@cascadiabhc.org and someone will attach the updated resume for you.
