The Housing Outreach Team (HOT) is a mobile mental health team that provides counseling, case management, skills training, psychiatric services, crisis intervention, housing placement, landlord advocacy, and more.
The HOT program provides permanent supportive housing to more than 200+adults, couples and families with children who were homeless during placement (the primary client is disabled by a serious mental illness and would benefit from community and home based services to help them end their experience with homelessness and maintain housing).
Cascadia’s Housing Outreach Team often serves clients without income, some without insurance, and some who have struggled in meeting expectations in an outpatient setting. The services provided by the Housing Outreach Team primarily takes place in the client’s home or in a community setting. The primary goals of our Permanent Supportive Housing programs are housing stability, income/benefit attainment, and improving mental health stability
