July 26, 2018 — Jim Rudnick, an information technology executive and management consultant whose 20+ year career includes experience with both dynamic start-ups and agent-of-change leadership within established organizations, has been named Chief Information Officer for Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare, the nonprofit announced.

“Jim’s unparalleled expertise will allow us to continue to build our data and information technology capabilities to improve outcomes and deliver whole healthcare to our clients,” said Cascadia President and CEO Derald Walker, PhD. “His vast IT experience makes him a strong addition to our executive leadership team.”
Rudnick will oversee Cascadia’s Information Technology and Administrative Support departments.
“I have a personal connection with Cascadia’s mission of supporting our communities with hope and well-being,” said Rudnick. “By ensuring our infrastructure, organization, and information management landscape are positioned to meet Cascadia’s current and future needs, my aim is to advance that mission.”

His leadership at an angel-funded regional Internet Service Provider resulted in the company earning Portland Business Alliance’s “Top Ten Growth Award.” The start-up was later acquired by Integra Telecom.
Rudnick holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Lewis and Clark College. He is a practitioner of ITIL Service Management, an industry recognized best practice framework for managing IT, and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) trained Project Manager.
