Living with Persistent Pain Group: There’s Still Time to Join!
What is Living With Persistent Pain?
Living With Persistent Pain (LWPP) is a treatment and support group focused on supporting Cascadia clients learning to manage and live with their persistent (chronic) pain. The group follows an evidence-based curriculum and uses an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework to help participants limit the control that pain exerts over their lives. Participants will learn about persistent pain; how pain interacts with thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and practice mindfulness and skill-building in a supportive group environment.
In addition to group sessions and optional practice mindfulness sessions, the Living With Persistent Pain program provides care coordination support to get connected with acupuncture and chiropractic services
Who is eligible?
