Update due to COVID-19 (posted 6/23/20)
On July 6, all health centers will expand hours Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Clients are still encouraged to use our Telehealth services and call in to speak with a clinician, nurse, or doctor.
To protect clients, employees and community members during this public health crisis, when checking in for appointments, the front desk will ask clients five questions:
- Do you have a fever?
- Do you have a sore throat?
- Do you have a dry cough
- Have you had shortness of breath?
- Have you had exposure to anyone that is positive with COVID-19?
If a client answers YES to any of these questions:
- Clients will be moved to a designated room/waiting space for a temperature check and further medical assessment
- Staff will contact a medical team member for assessment and next steps
If a client is assessed as needing care, they will be referred to their primary care provider or sent to the emergency room for further assessment and testing before being seen by Cascadia clinicians.
Clinical staff will be notified and will assist in rescheduling any appointments or arranging for telephone visits. Clients will be called the next day to reschedule.
Medications prescribe by Cascadia can be delivered to the client’s home while awaiting medical clearance.
